We built our own tools to find the right people faster.
After thirty years of placing people, we have a good sense of what a real match looks like. So we built software that helps us spot one quickly, which frees our recruiters up for the part that actually matters: talking to people.
Start with a person
Send us a résumé and we can tell you quickly which of our open jobs that person is genuinely right for. Not a keyword match, but a real look at what they have done, how senior they are, and the kind of company they did it in.
Or start with the job
Send us a job description and we will pull out the people in our files who actually fit it. Right background, right level, right kind of company. It works just as well in reverse.
What this means for you
A shortlist within one week instead of three months. Your search does not start from a blank page. It starts from people we have already found, already talked to, and already keep in touch with.
You hear from us when something really fits, and not otherwise. No mass emails. No job you would never take. If one of our recruiters calls you, there is a reason.
What else we have built
All of it in-houseThirty years in one place
Every résumé, conversation and placement going back to the nineties, all searchable, instead of sitting in old files nobody can get to.
Homework done early
We turn up to the first call already knowing your company, your market, and who else is chasing the same people you want.
Lists that stay warm
We keep our candidate lists up to date all year round, so we are not starting from zero on the day you call us.
Straight answers on pay
What a job actually pays in your market, so nobody is guessing when the money conversation comes around.
How we got here
We did not set out to build software. Ryan started using ChatGPT on his own searches, found it gave him back real hours in the week, and then rolled it out to everyone at Claddagh. We later moved across to Claude, and today the team works with Claude Code and a handful of other tools alongside it.
All of it sits behind the scenes. It reads, it sorts, it keeps track. None of it talks to you.
The part we are not handing to a computer.
No shortlist goes to a client until one of our recruiters has read it properly. Every conversation with a candidate is a real conversation, with someone whose name you know and whose number you have.
The software does the looking, the reading and the remembering. The judgment, the honesty and the hard phone call stay with us. That is the part you are hiring us for.
As of this writing, Claddagh does not make AI phone calls and does not run AI interviews. Every call you take from us is a person. We brought these tools in because they make us faster, not because we want to take the recruiter out of recruiting. Knowing whether someone is genuinely right for you is the gift each of our recruiters has, and it is the thing we are actually selling. That stays human.
We build our own software in-house, using Claude from Anthropic. It is shaped around the way we already work, rather than bought off a shelf and worked around.
